The News Behind The News – Carl Klang
Have you ever stopped to wonder why the world’s in such a mess?
Why there’s so much mindless mayhem on the T.V. in the press?
Why so many busy businessmen are snappin’ from the stress?
And the rest of us are joggin’ from depression?
Did it ever once occur to you or ever cross your mind?
That the problems of this nation are created by design?
That no matter what they tell ya there’s another bottom line?
Intertwined between the patterns of deception?
Since our eyes were first open and our ears began to hear
They’ve been herding us like cattle through our fantasy and fear
They rule us through illusion and confusion of the mind
And by changing subtle meanings to the words between the lines
It’s the news behind the news and the methods you can use
It’s the blueprint and the plan you can rely on
And it’s written in the Protocols Of The Learned Elders Of Zion
Move along now all you little bovine…
Now they’ll tell ya it’s a forgery they’ll say that it’s a fake
That some anti-Semite wrote it for the money that he’d make
It’s been slanderized and demonized and labeled “racist hate”
By the same who stake a claim to it’s creation
Now I’m not here to try to argue if it’s fake or if it’s true
If the author was a commie or the likes of you know who
What I’m really tryin’ to tell ya and to get across to you
That it’s the blueprint to the downfall of our nation
There’s a cause to the chaos that’s occurring in the land
There’s a road to communism there’s a global master plan
You’ll never read about it in a book of history
‘Cause it’s been hidden from the masses to control their destiny
It’s the news behind the news and the methods that they use
It’s the blueprint and the plan they all rely on
And it’s written in the Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion
Yee haw!
Now them Protocols of Zion have a crazy history
Henry Ford gave out a copy free, with every Model “T”
It’s a crime to even own one if you live in Germany
Though it’s not an anti-Jewish publication
So if you ever get a chance to get a copy of your own
Just remember not to ever leave it lyin’ ’round your home
‘Cause ya never know just where their snoopy news reporters roam
One might even be a friend or close relation
It’s the cause to the chaos that’s occurring in the land
It’s the source of communism, it’s the global master plan
You’ll never read about it in a book of history
‘Cause it’s been hidden from the masses to control our destiny
It’s the news behind the news and the methods that they use
It’s the blueprint and the plan they all rely on
And it’s written in the Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion
And it’s written in the Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion
Yee Haw! Go ahead and wail at your wall!
The Boomer who runs “Rock History Channel” made this video discussing how he does not like the voice of Nirvana’s Kurt Cobain
“A Legendary Voice I Still Can’t Stand”
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5mP09bP6BM8
I (DanielS) commented:
For the sake of you and your channel probably not a tactful video to make. It seems the opinions of musicians can sometimes get lost in technicalities at the expense of musicality and creativity. In the case of Cobain, a distaste for his philosophy, or rather lack thereof in sufficiency, distracts from the creativity and energy re-animating the essence of rock at a time when the frustration of late modern anxiety needed a voice to rise above the din in rebellion against the PC guilt trips for white kids being unfairly punished as if they were privileged. Now, you might say that the energy of Nirvana songs come with a drawback of a very short shelf life. Some really hit the sweet spot in the pallet the first two or three times you hear it, but then its like having nagged your mom for a box of Yodels and finding the sickly sweet is too much, and the chemical cake turns bitter and unwanted. Alice in Chains, on the other hand, has shelf life in that same genre of reinvigorating the creative but masculine energy of rock …a complement to Nirvana, but like Nirvana can be criticized for asking too much of White men, to be self sacrificing in the name of musical self actualization, appreciation and respect from women in the age of you are bad White man. In that sense, I believe your criticism would have been better aimed at their insufficient grasp of what post modern philosophy is supposed to be about rather than the sound itself, which in my opinion to the contrary,
For another example, complaining about the attitude and anxiety manifest in Cobain’s voice is like saying you don’t like Pink Floyd’s “Animals” because it is “too sad,” ignoring the artistry which is so good that the wallowing is welcome comradery in otherwise un-catered-to frustration with institutional bullying; or in the example of The Smiths, who also wallow away, but are so musically creative that you don’t even care if they are sad and gay, even if you are not.
While most of the music that I’ve included in this post is old, it is not my intention at all to suggest that older music was better; it’s just that this is the music that I knew to be good and can suggest for others who may not be familiar or who would perhaps like some confirmation of their tastes.
It also tends to be older music because there came a point where I made a conscious decision to spend less time listening to music – it can be addictive, like a drug; it was for me; give me a cup of coffee and music and I could be happy; but it came to a point when there were other matters to attend to in life.
Nor do I mean to suggest that there is no good music around today; I have had a friend surprise me with new groups and songs that were fantastic; I wish I could remember those particular songs, but it was a few years back already; as I said, I am not averse to new music, am in fact tired enough of most of this old stuff to not listen to it anymore, but I am simply not familiar with good, new stuff to bring it to your attention.
Furthermore, I do not by any means mean to suggest that I endorse the politics of these artists – good grief! Just the opposite in most cases – I’d have to change the lyrics in my head so as not to be driven mad.
Finally, there are some groups which I love, like the Jefferson Airplane – and I might include select cuts later – but I do not include them now because they had two integral Jewish members – Balin and Kaukonen – so I do not highlight the Airplane, registering them in what were once a guilty listening pleasure along with some black music that I’ve liked.
..by the way, I really don’t partake of these guilty listening pleasures much any more; and its good for young guys to bear in mind that people like Jimi Hendrix are not good role models for White boys.
